It’s incredible how powerful we are when we’re clear on who we are and what we stand for

I love to get clients into nature where breakthrough conversations tend to occur more frequently.

My life revolves around my family – my three sons and my wife Lisa. I consider myself playful, humble but very driven. Having had a few false starts in my twenties, I found my thing in the world of sports marketing joining Lighthouse Communications in 1999. This was a joy. Great boss, great company. I worked behind the scenes of Premier League football, rugby, Olympic sports and ATP/WTA tennis. The highlight was being posted to Sydney for Rugby World Cup 2003 where I spent most of my time taunting Australians about Jonny Wilkinson’s left boot (and right). In 2004, I joined Sony Ericsson as global director of sponsorship overseeing our partnerships with women’s tennis, the Volvo Ocean Race and  FIFA. It was a big job but after four years I realised I was too much of a maverick for a corporate organisation. Time to be a founder. My timing was impeccable i.e. right in the middle of the worst financial crisis this century. Well Nietzsche did say what doesn’t kill you makes you stronger.
Threshold / More is in you
Having sold the business, I needed a stretch to challenge myself.
I finally grew up finally in 2008 when I founded Threshold Sports – Mantra “more is in you” alongside Olympian James Cracknell. Threshold is renowned for arduous, high-quality events and first-class culture – this is the place I learned to be a leader. I sold the company to Infront Sports and Media in 2019 but happily remain a board director.
Henley Business School
I joined Henley Business School I enrolled on the PCEC Executive Coaching Certificate at Henley Business School adding academic rigour to my obsession with potential. Since graduating, I have been drawn to neuroscience with the emphasis on opening up people’s imagination as to the ideal state for themselves and those around them. My new mission is to help like-minded people get the most out of themselves and their lives – as they say “you only live once but if you do it right, once is enough”.
I would love to help hundreds of founders be the best version of themselves.
It’s incredible how powerful we are when we’re clear on who we are and what we stand for. Think about it; How can you move forward with your next venture; if you’re not clear on what it is you actually do? How can you make the right changes in your life; if you’ve not found the source of the pain or identified the challenge? How can you achieve clarity; if you’ve not worked out why you’re here, or what is actually important to you? Supporting leaders and entrepreneurs to find their true north and make an even bigger impact on the world. Typically, my clients have had impressive career arcs but they seek more meaning, purpose and fulfilment in the next phase of their career. They have an itch to change the world and get the best out of themselves and those around them. Are you wondering if there’s more to life?
